Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig in September 21, 1983. She is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. Originating from Worthington Ohio, she left high school to move to Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. In the midst of financial hardship, she got her first part as the title character in the web-based video show Rachel's Room in 2001. After earning a Young Artist Award in 2002 for her portrayal as Murder In Greenwich of a 15-year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to take home the award.
