 Amy Poehler is an American actress, comedian and voice artist producer, writer, and actress with a net worth of $25 million. Her most well-known role is as the actress who starred in the NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation". The actress has also been in several films. Her first fame was due to "Saturday Night Live".Amy Meredith Poehler was born in Newton, Massachusetts on September 16, 1971. Her parents Eileen and William Poehler were both teachers in the school. Amy has a younger brother, Greg, who is a producer and actor. Amy grew up in the Boston suburb of Burlington, Massachusetts. Amy was just 10 years old when she played Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" at middle school. She was a member of the drama department at high school as well as an active member of the Student Council, and an player on the softball and soccer teams. She graduated from highschool in 1989, and was enrolled at nearby Boston College. Amy was part of an improv comedy ensemble during college. Amy graduated from Boston College in 1993.
